Hey, Hillary - Are ya gonna fire Blanchard over NAFTA comments?

I wonder if the diarist of this diary is gonna hold Hillary to the same standards she wants to hold Obama concerning the following episode?(Don't hold your breath):

At Toronto's Empire Club of Canada this week, two former US ambassadors to Canada -- one Democrat and one Republican -- debated how concerned Canadians should be that the Democratic candidates are serious about re-negotiating NAFTA.

It was the Democrat, James Blanchard, who told Canadians not to worry, according to Canadian press accounts.

Blanchard, former Governor of Michigan, is a Michigan state co-chair of Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign, one of her major "HillRaiser" fundraisers, and served as US Ambassador to Canada during the administration of former President Bill Clinton.

Hillary Clinton has pledged to voters that she will force Canada to re-negotiate the deal or the US will opt out of it.

"I've said that I will renegotiate NAFTA, so obviously we'd have to say to Canada and Mexico that that's exactly what we're going to do," Clinton said during a recent debate. "We will opt out of NAFTA unless we renegotiate it."

No, Ma'am, YOU Really Don't Get It - Do You?!

Yet another chapter in the sorry descent of MyDD. The most highly recommended diary here at MyDD at the moment comes from a once illustrious fellow Kossack, who I have always respected:

He Really Doesn't Get It - Does He?

The diary tries to use Obama's remarks about small town bitterness against him. What the diarist does not realize is she is the one who doesn't get it - it is she who is perpetuating the politics of distraction that Republicans have used to achieve and maintain power and trick working people to vote against their own self-interests.

(UPDATE) Some at MyDD Celebrating Support from O'Reilly? Really?!

Has it come to this? Are people from MyDD so desperate to fight with DailyKos that they will practically rejoice at mention from a RightWing bonehead like O'Reilly? Next you guys will celebrate that Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh has entered into the feud between these two sites. Oh wait: I'm sure many of you here are happy about mention of the Evil Orange Devil DailyKos on O'Reilly as you are that Rush Limbaugh has influenced Republican vote in the primaries simply to put a wrench in this race, rather than because they believe in Hillary:

For a party that loves to hate the Clintons, Republican voters have cast an awful lot of ballots lately for Senator Hillary Clinton: About 100,000 GOP loyalists voted for her in Ohio, 119,000 in Texas, and about 38,000 in Mississippi, exit polls show.

A sudden change of heart? Hardly.
